Biba! Enabled Playgrounds Presented At First WLU [GAMEtalk]

Wilfred Laurier University’s Game Design and Development degree program launched it’s first [GAMEtalk] Lecture Series with a presentation from the General Manager of PlayPower Canada, Brian Jenkins. The focus was on Biba! the series of free digital games that work in conjunction with playgrounds to get kids the active, physical and imaginative play they need.

Free games to encourage healthy outdoor play

The WLU website says “Gamification and gameful design techniques motivate people to get engaged with the real world by adding a game-based layer” and Biba!

The Biba Welcome Sign and Play Symbols are available for purchase through your local PlayPower Canada representative, and the games are available for FREE at the App Store or Google Play.
